Taylor Swift spotted in simple summer outfit with a $27,000 necklace for a day out in New York City
When Taylor Swift says she’s “still bejeweled,” she means that literally.
The “Karma” singer was pictured in New York City on Wednesday while visiting Electric Lady Studios following three sold-out performances at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, over the weekend.
She donned a black cotton dress that was perfect for the season, accessorizing with a few shiny necklaces, brown purses, and sunglasses.
But the latter wasn’t any old piece of jewelry — it was a gold, diamond-encrusted Cartier piece from the 1980s.
Although the sparkling necklace, known as the Agrafe Herringbone Twisted Necklace, is no longer produced. This one recently sold for $27,250 on 1stDibs, an online marketplace for premium goods.

The gold buckle belt, $200 Indio sunglasses, and $450 Waylon slide sandals by Anine Bing are just a few of Swift’s other accessories that flawlessly complement the metallic necklace.
Swift also carried a brown variation of the $895 Mansur Gavriel M Frame Box Bag, which she has frequently used this summer while out and about in New York City.
Of course, sharp-eyed Swifties have also seen past her clothing.
Along with her simple-yet-expensive dress on Wednesday, the entertainer was also sporting a fresh manicure, as many people have noted.
This time, Swift’s nails alternated between purple, blue, and green hues.
Having said that, the hues could already be different. Swift has a habit of changing her nail color in between Eras Tour performances, alternating between brilliant coral that appears to have no meaning and rainbow hues that signify her 10 albums.
Swift’s most recent outfit may be an Easter egg, but it’s still a lesson in summer dressing, whether or not you have a $27,000 necklace to wear.
