Following the release of her most recent album Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) on July 7, the 33-year-old “Bejeweled” singer made history on Sunday by becoming the first female artist to together have four albums rank in the Billboard Top 10.
According to Billboard, Swift achieved the accomplishment after the album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 list with earlier albums Midnights (No. 5), Lover (No. 7), and Folklore (No. 10).
In Billboard’s history, just three other artists accomplished the feat: Herb Alpert in 1966 and Prince posthumously in 2016.
Taylor Swift’s most recent album has sold a record number of album-equivalent units this year, at 716,000, according to a Republic Records press release.

Additionally, according to Billboard, it is Swift’s 12th No. 1 album, making her the female artist with the most No. 1 albums in chart history, Barbra Streisand.
Swift’s statement of chart success comes after Jake Owen responded to speculation that the song “Sparks Fly” from her album Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) is about him.
The fact that many people believe the country artist is the subject of one of Swift’s 2010 hit songs didn’t appear to him, and fans are revisiting the theory as the album is released. The story has been around for years, but Owen, who is now 41, tells to media rep that it has never affected him.
“It’s a great song and the speculation has always been funny to me,” Owen admitted at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in South Lake Tahoe, Nevada, where the American Century Championship was being held. “I’m sure Taylor probably laughs at it all too, but I’m happy to even have my name in the discussion around it.”
The musician, whose most recent album, Loose Cannon, was released on June 23, — went on to say that he has “known Taylor since she was 16,” and has always been a fan of her work.
