The news comes after Sofia Vergara was seen in Italy celebrating her 51st birthday without Manganiello or a wedding ring.
After seven years of marriage, Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello are divorcing, the news came out.
“We have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the couple shared in a statement to Page Six. “As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect for our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
The actress of Modern Family was recently photographed in Italy enjoying her 51st birthday with friends, after that the news of their separation comes. Vergara was not wearing her wedding ring and Manganiello was not seen with her.

Despite the fact that the True Blood star was not present, he shared a birthday tribute celebrating his estranged wife on Instagram.
He captioned a picture of the former couple celebrating Sofia Vergara’s birthday with “Feliz Cumpleaos Sofa!”
In November 2015, Vergara and Manganiello married in Palm Beach, Florida.
The 51-year-old Emmy winner shared many vintage images of the couple on their wedding day, including one of them exchanging vows and dancing at their reception, when they celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary in 2022.
At the time, she simply wrote “Love U” and added a string of red love emojis to the post’s caption.
Manganiello said in a statement in August 2020 that he believed his decision to spend all of time with Vergara was the correct one.
“I knew pretty quickly that I could trust her, and she knew pretty quickly that she could trust me,” he said of their relationship ahead of their five year anniversary.
“And we’re both the kind of people who are capable of putting the other person ahead of ourselves. I was capable of putting her wishes ahead of mine, whatever they were, and she was capable of doing the same. Once you have that, you don’t let go of it.”
At the time, he continued, “My gut feeling about her was correct.
